Most of iron tablet causes digestion problem and in pregnancy where you are already suffering from so much you dont want to add a new thing but this tab helped my wife all through her pregnancy without any problems

This is by far one of the best iron supplements on the market. It’s expensive but well worth the money. Typically iron supplements cause digestive problems but not this one. I even bought it for my father who is 70+ and he loves it too!

I realized anything more than 18mg dosage per tablet is very bad and i this has 100mg per tablet is that safe?I thank you for the good service but please do clarify this ? As heavy dosage has bad side effects. Thank you

Dear Evangeline, the molar mass of ferrous ascorbate = 406.08g/mol, the molar mass Fe (Iron) = 55.847g/mol.
Factor: 55.847/406.08 = 0.1375.
Take mass of ferrous ascorbate, multiply by 0.1375 = mass elemental iron
Hence when it is mentioned that the recommended dietary allowance for Iron should be below 18 mg they meant it by elemental iron and not ferrous ascorbate.
and when we calculate it as per our product.
100 mg x 0.1375 = 13.75 mg only
which is very well within the RDA limits and hence there should not be any problems in consuming the same.
