BLOOD GROUP O

People with this o+ve and O-ve blood groups are found to have higher secretions of stomach acids (alkaline phosphatase and lipoprotein apob48). Due to this, they are more susceptible to gastric ulcers and digestive problems.

Thyroid disorders also influence them. By following a diet which is mild on spices, rich in antioxidants and with few probiotics they can prevent all types of complications attached to the same.

Foods to include: The blood type o diet foods like plenty of fruits, vegetables, milk and milk products and proteins like chicken, eggs and fish.

Foods Must Be Avoided: Excessive amount of caffeine and chocolate. Regular alcohol consumption should also be avoided.

BLOOD GROUP A

People who belong to this group are highly susceptible to diabetes and obesity. They have lower levels of stomach acid (hydrochloric acid), which helps in digestion and metabolization of food. It has been seen that people with A+ and A- blood group have a sensitive immune system.

Foods to include: A right amount of fish, legumes, pulses, fruits and vegetables is advised.

Foods Must Be Avoided: Meat and a few dairy products in reduced amounts are suggested. Anything rich in fats and carbohydrates should be avoided.

BLOOD GROUP B

People with B+ and B- blood group have higher than normal levels of Cortisol (the hormone released during stress), which can head to autoimmune diseases, diabetes, obesity and inflammatory diseases. Fewer carbohydrates and fat, and high consumption of protein is suggested.

Foods To Include: B positive and b negative blood group diet generally include egg whites and chicken can be included in the regular diet. Vitamin and mineral boosters such as fruits and veggies become an integral part of the diet.

Foods To Avoid: Shellfish like crabs and prawns, and beef should be avoided. Alcohol consumption is harmful.

BLOOD GROUP AB

This blood group also will have high levels of stomach acids, and hence they are susceptible to digestive issues.

The regular diet should be designed to include a few foods.

Foods To Include In Your Daily Diet: AB positive blood type diet includes tofu, low-fat dairy products and lots of fresh vegetables and fruits. Eating small and repeated meals are recommended for this blood group people.

      HI Likhila, yes you are partially correct that Gluten should be avoided but again not all O Positive people are allergic to gluten and hence can not make it a general statement

      Hi Mr Reddy, Gluten and lactose are allergies which other then O type blood group can also have and hence it can not be made a general statement that all O blood types cannot consume gluten and lactose if we see even B type of have digestion problems and any blood type people who has digestion should avoid lactose and gluten

      Hi Sweta, Yes what I have mentioned in the article is correct, O type can consume milk and milk products and does not face any issue but yes if someone is having a digestion problem, then gluten and lactose should be 100% avoided
