  1. Eric says:

    Hello,
Can Arjuna help with AVM in brain? I have found other sources saying yes, and the dosage would be 500mg tablets, 1 or 2, twice a day (with food).

I started at 1 tab, twice a day; and moved up to 2 tabs, twice a day. I have been on this for a month now, and my seizures ‘seem’ to be getting less intense and less often.

    Questions:
Can Arjuna help with AVM in brain?
Am I at risk of taking too much?
Is there a time limit to how long someone should be on Arjuna?

Also, is there a difference between Arjuna ‘powder’ and Arjuna ‘extract’? My first bottle says ‘organic Arjuna powder 500mg’. But my next bottle ordered says ‘Arjuna bark extract 500mg’.

Thank you in advance for any advice you may offer!

I take 500mg arjuna twice a day & a hawthorn extract twice a day that has 300mg of leaf & flower & 185mg of the berry. Also are the contraindicated with a beta blocker & blood pressure pill.
Thank you for all your help. Charles

    • Mukta Agarwal says:

Hello Charles, Arjuna also acts as a blood thinner and helps control blood pressure and hence I would suggest you reduce dosage to 500 mg per day and yes it does help in ejection fraction as well and hawthorn extract works very well with afib and ejection fraction both but again dosage should be 1 cap only as here are chances of blood-thinning if taken along with beta-blockers and antihypertensive drugs

Can arjuna help with elevated heart rate (BPM)? I have had an elevated resting heart rate for the last two years as a result of several stress causing events. Blood tests show no sign of heart disease and elevated heart rate is thought to be caused by adrenal fatigue & excess cortisol levels brought on by stress and anxiety. I do NOT want to take propranolol, which is the only thing that was suggested to me. I don’t take any pharmaceuticals.
